About Heather Davis...

Heather Davis, Board Certified Christian Mental Health Coach

About Me…
I’m a Board Certified Master Mental Health Coach,  with 9 years of experience supporting individuals, couples,  families, and organizations through addiction, anxiety, betrayal, depression, divorce, trauma, life transitions, and spiritual abuse.  As a Mental Health Coach I have specialized training in addictions and life recovery.

My coaching style is collaborative, empowering, practical and forward-focused as we work together to create the meaningful change my clients desire.  I use the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM),  Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting (BSP), and personality assessments (such as Myers Briggs, the Enneagram or the DISC profile) to equip clients to access their God-given design to live a more full, empowered life.  We accomplish this by building a healthy self-esteem, developing supportive coping skills, and by refining personal narratives around growth, failure, acceptance and connection.

What You Can Expect…
My goal is to provide a space where you feel heard, seen, and accepted…..one where you are given the space to long for, express and work toward your future vision of yourself without judgment or criticism.  Our work will be focused on collaborating to identify your goals, unpacking difficult emotions and false beliefs of self or circumstances, building tools for resilience, and practical exercises to encourage you to integrate these new tools into your daily life.  I tailor each session to meet your specific needs and pace.

A Bit About Me…
Outside of coaching, I enjoy leading women's groups in Bible Studies, Freedom Groups, and taking my “mini”golden doodle for long walks.

I became a coach because it was a natural outflow of what I saw, needed and valued as I worked through the chasm between the vision I had for my life and what was actually transpiring.   My undoing - spiritually, maritally and outwardly to those who knew me - led me to pursue understanding and insight both relationally and through professional training.  As CS Lewis wrote in The Great Divorce, “Overcome us, so that overcome, we may be ourselves.”  I want to walk alongside others as they pursue this level of living.
